The Racine Threat are based out of Racine, WI. They have been around for 7 years starting off in the IFL and and then joining WSFL and now currently members of the MSFL. This team has come a very long way since its start, growing to be a contender each year in existence. In 2004 the Threat went undefeated until the Championship game losing to the Oostburg Rebels giving the Rebels their 2nd Championship in as many years! The next year the Threat under new coaching went 8-4 losing in the semi's to the eventual league champion the West Bend Junk Yard Dogs. In 2004 the Threat started off strong going 6-0 til being knocked down by the Rebels once again after losing 2 straight the Threat went back on that winning streak finishing the season with an 8-2 record and a first round playoff bye. In the division championship the Threat faced a local foe playing the Racine Horsemen the Threat prevailed 14-10 and were on their way to the title game facing a familiar face the Rebels. In the championship the Threat started slow and never regained composure eventually losing again 35-28. With a team motto One Team One Mission. In 2007 the Threat joined the MSFL where they faced a new group of talent starting with the 2006 National Champs the Chicago Thunder and was it a wake up call to the Threat being pounded 42-7. The Threat woke up and went on to win their next 3 games until they faced the Leydon Lions and in upsetting fashion the Lions kicked a game winning field goal. That game would be a turning point for this Threat team. Finishing the season strong winning their last 3 games enroute to the playoffs and a rematch with the Leydon Lions. The Threat would go down early only to have the DEFENSE dominate the second half and win the game 30-27. Next they faced the Thunder a rematch of week 1 and the Threat would not take them lightly. Holding the Thunder to just 13 points in the first half the Threat were in the game and again the DEFENSE stood strong holding them to 0 points in the second half but the Threat fell short of a bid to the Championship game by losing 13-7. In 2008 the Threats new look includes a new Head Coach Brent Moss with a new attitude of "Put up or Shut up"!
