The 2006 and 2007 IFL Champions have come together to form the Wisconsin Wolfpack. The nucleus of the team is the result of a bilateral merger of the Wisconsin Bulldogs and the Franklin Outlaws. The Outlaws were founded by Dustin Reynolds as original members of the Ironman Football League. The team was created as part of Dustin Reynolds vision of giving the areas football players another chance to continue playing organized, full contact football against top-quality competition. Three seasons and hundreds of players later, the dream continues. This is a league of accountants and lawyers, construction workers and entrepreneurs, teachers and truck drivers. This is a league where 22-year old men with continuing pro inspirations butt heads with 37-year-old fathers who simply want to keep alive the spark of competition. It is a league of second chances and a league of first-time opportunities. The team will be competing in the triple "A" North American Football League. The Wisconsin Wolfpack have scored the assistance of Jordan Kopac, former head coach for the Racine Raiders. Kopac, who has been well connected within the semi-pro ranks for years, is considered a major coup for the Wolfpack, considering Kopac, a successful businessman, is accepting a position as owner as well as defensive coordinator. The announcement was hushed until after the Racine Raiders end-of-season banquet. The Wolfpack are having their first team tryout March 1st and would like to invite any football player who has had previous experience to fill out a player form that can be found on www.wiwolfpack.com site.
